Rev. Peter Sastradjaja

Rev. Frencing Sastradjaja

Frencing has been based in Sydney since 2004. Together with her husband Peter, she founded AIM Sydney for English ministry in 2015. In 2022, they also incorporated the Indonesian Alpha Omega congregation, which now serves as the AIM Indonesian service. With a decade of experience working with national and international NGOs as an operations leader and coordinator, she has been actively serving with her two sons to minister to a diverse, intergenerational community of faith since 2015. F holds several qualifications, including an M.Th, MPm, B.A., Dip Mgt, and Dip Acc, and was ordained as a Reverend by the Foursquare Churches of Australia in April 2024.

Peter earned his MTh and was ordained by the Foursquare Churches of Australia in 2013. With a background in B.IT and Dip Mgt, he, as a 1.5-generation immigrant in Sydney, was profoundly impacted by the challenges faced by the second generation born in the city. In response, he initiated an outreach for the younger generation in 2015, laying the groundwork for what AIM has become today.

History

The AIM community of faith was founded to address the challenges faced by young multicultural generations in Sydney. Both pastors, driven by a strong sense of mission, felt called to serve this group. In 2015, a small group of young, multicultural non-believers became intrigued by the mission trip of the leaders (now pastors), who had journeyed over the Syrian border to provide aid. This curiosity led them to explore the Gospel, sparking the outreach that has evolved into AIM today. In 2022, AIM embraced the Indonesian community in Campsie, establishing a second service in Bahasa Indonesia. Additionally, that year saw the launch of a children's ministry and a vibrant night service in Campsie.
